Enjoy an Exceptional Spring Break in Orlando – Here’s How
Peruse our top spring break bucket list activities in Orlando to discover what you’d like to prioritize on your vacation.
Take a trip around the world at Epcot
Global travel is downright exhilarating, and at Epcot, you can experience and taste the cultures of 11 different countries at the World Showcase. No long plane rides required to visit each one, just a small amount of walking. We recommend spending an entire day strolling from one country to the next making memories and taking fun photos.
Meet a Princess at the Magic Kingdom
Disney princesses are one of the most popular components of visiting the parks, and it’s easy to see why! Immaculately dressed in character, being within the presence of a princess brings back that same sense of magic felt while watching the Disney films. Within the Magic Kingdom, you can look forward to meeting Arielle, Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine, Merida, and more.
Fly on the back of a Banshee at Pandora in the Animal Kingdom
Since flying on the back of a Banshee is clearly on everyone’s bucket list, we figure it’s about time to cross it off! Fans of Avatar and the wondrous world of Pandora, we recommend heading to the Animal Kingdom to experience the Flight of Passage Ride.
Visit Lake Louisa State Park for a day away from the adventure in Orlando
A mere thirty minutes outside of Orlando lies a natural oasis of adventure and relaxation. Lake Louisa State Park features three lakes and a myriad of wildlife and outdoor activities. Spend the day kayaking, canoeing, or paddle boarding, while keeping your eyes peeled for tortoises, fox squirrels, and bobcats.
Swim With Dolphins
Few experiences are as magical as swimming with a dolphin. Opportunities to swim with dolphins are rare, but luckily Orlando is home to Discovery Cove. Treat yourself to a day of snorkeling, feeding exotic birds, lounging on the beach, and swimming with dolphins, all of which are possible at the all-inclusive adventure that is Discovery Cove.
Shopping Spree at Disney Springs
Hopefully, you’ll be able to squeeze in a bit of time for shopping while in Orlando, you will be on vacation after all! For the most efficient shopping experience, head to Disney Springs, which features an extensive array of shops offering everything from artisan candles to high-end purses. There are plenty of dining establishments to choose from, for when you need to refuel.
Make a Splash at Surfari Water Park
No trip to Orlando is complete without some quality time at a water park. We advise choosing a hotel that has its own water park. That way, you can pop in and out of the water park as you please, no entrance ticket needed. The Grove Resort Orlando is an excellent choice, as this resort only opened its water park, Surfari, about a year ago. It’s also one of the only water parks within Florida to feature a surf simulator which vacationers can try their hand at surfing on! Surfari also features a variety of water slides, a lazy river, dining, and more.
Now, how many items does your spring break bucket list have? It may be that now you have more things to choose from, or perhaps you were able to pare down your list. One last bit of advice is to decide what the intention of your vacation is. If it’s to fit as many activities in as possible, then build a packed itinerary. If you’d prefer to use spring break as a relaxing vacation, then build in ample time to just relax at the resort, wake up late, and not have to rush from one attraction to the next.
You get to choose, after all, it’s your spring break! Have it exactly the way you wish to! For suites here at The Grove Resort Orlando, please book as far in advance as possible since the resort tends to get completely booked during spring break season.
